In Shape and Reflektion werden zyklische Prozesse des Lebens und der Verwandlung aus mikro- und makrokosmischer Perspektive betrachtet. Shape & Reflection nähert sich dem Kreislauf von Leben und Tod über künstlerisch-poetische Übersetzungen der rhythmischen Prozesse und Wandlungen in der Natur. Im Zentrum der Arbeit steht die Möglichkeit der Transformation in einen neuen (Seins)Zustand. Shape & Reflektion ist ebenfalls Teil von The White Sea Cycle.

In Shape and Reflection the cyclical processes of life and transformation are viewed from a micro- and macrocosmic perspective. Shape and Reflection approaches the cycle of life and death through artistic-poetic translations of the rhythmic functioning and transformation in nature. The focus of the work is the possibility of transforming into a new state (of being). Shape and Reflection is also part of The White Sea Cycle.

Die Videoarbeit setzt sich mit der oftmals fremdartigen Gestalt wirbelloser Meerestiere auseinander. Deren Darstellung verweist auf die scheinbare Fremdheit zwischen der menschlichen und der tierischen Welt. Metamorphosis ist Teil des The White Sea Cycle, einer Werkserie mit Fokus auf die Beziehungen zwischen dem Mensch und dem Meer.

Metamorphosis is part of The White Sea Cycle, a series of works focusing on the relationships between humans and the sea. The video work deals with the often alien shape of invertebrate marine animals. The depiction of them refers to the apparent foreignness between the human and animal worlds.
