TRESPASSING

The photographic series Trespassing was taken in the South and Western Australian Outbacks. They are part of a photographic essay focusing on the development of and changes in the Australian landscape.

By means of my images I trace human interventions in these landscapes and present the changes in meaning of these places through my eyes. The images are aesthetically condensed to achieve a multilayered reading that allows the visible and the hidden to be simultaneously experienced.

Their titles are taken from the place names and are connected to the specified mined or worked raw materials found in those places.
